The Speech and Language Therapy Services are offering an exciting training opportunity to local schools. Talk Boost KS2 is a targeted intervention for children in Years 3, 4 and 5 who have delayed language development, aiming to boost their language skills to help them to catch up with their peers. The full day training is heavily discounted at £75 per person with the ICAN intervention pack available at an additional cost of £480. This equates to only £20 per child over two years, if three groups of 4 children received the 9 week intervention each year. Please contact sltnorth.admin@mpft.nhs.uk to book your place. Please note that a teacher and TA pair should attend the training wherever possible as classroom carryover is an integral part of this intervention.
